There seems to be no easily findable and simple list of SSSIs (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) in the Forest of Dean - so I created one! The main source is a PDF file on Forest of Dean District Council which is taken from data supplied by English Nature. Both sites are large and rather impenetrable!
However natural England have another site Nature on the Map which is worth investigating - though to my mind it's too "bells and whistles" and not enouh information.
The link in the Name column is to the site citation - English Nature's pdf describing the site. In due course I hope to do photographic pages on some of the sites: links will be in the Map Reference column.
