The hamlet of Green Bottom is an excellent centre for a walking or cycling holiday. Not only are there walks straight from the cottage in every direction, but it is also close to many long-distance walks and places of interest to visit.
For cycling, the roads are quiet and there are old railways nowadays used as cycle paths in the forest.
There are pages here about the walks and places to visit within easy access of Green Bottom.
The emboldened links below are 'walklalogs' with photographs and maps.
